INGREDIENTS:
Each tablet contains 100 mg of pyritinol.
AVAILABLE IN:
Containers of 20 or 60 tablets.
PHARMACEUTICAL CLASSIFICATION:
Other medicines of the cerebrospinal nervous system (II-13). XX Tablets, CERBON 6 is a pharmaceutical speciality with psychotonic and psychostimulating properties. Its main ingredient is pyritinol.
INDICATIONS:
Functional insufficiencies of the SNC. Difficulties affecting concentration and memory. Poor academic performance. Physical and psychological exhaustion. Altered sleeping and waking rhythms. Symptoms related to senility and pre-senility. Cerebral arteriosclerosis. Chronic alcoholism.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to pyritinol.
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
Insomnia can occasionally take place during treatment. Should this occur, do not take this product at night.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEDICINES:
Not described.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
On very rare occasions, allergic reactions to pyritinol have been observed (mild skin reactions). Patients with a history of allergies should take this product with caution.
FOR EXPECTANT OR NURSING MOTHERS:
No reliable data is available concerning the administration of pyritinol during pregnancy and nursing. Nonetheless, taking CERBON-6 is not recommended at this time.
EFFECTS ON THE PATIENT'S CAPACITY TO DRIVE OR OPERATE MACHINERY:

LIST OF EXCIPIENTS, THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHICH MAY BE NECESSARY FOR A PROPER USE OF THE MEDICINE:
CERBON-6 contains lactose and sucrose.
DOSAGE:
Initially, 2 tablets, 3 times daily. After the first 10 days of use, the dosage should be lowered to 1 tablet, 3 times daily.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
CERBON-6 tablets are to be taken only by mouth.
MOST APPROPRIATE TIME TO TAKE THIS MEDICINE:
Not after meals
AVERAGE DURATION OF TREATMENT:
To be decided by the doctor. Nonetheless, a continued treatment for at least one month is recommended.
MEASURES TO BE TAKEN WHEN ONE OR MORE DOSES ARE MISSED:
Begin treatment once again as before.

IN CASE OF OVERDOSE OR INTOXICATION:
No cases have been reported concerning overdose and/or intoxication with CERBON-6.
In the event of accidental or intentional overdose, we recommend taking the customary medical measures, namely gastric lavage, using a saline purgative, and clinical supervision.
