ANACKR, PAUL
Paul Anacker was Chairman of Lawyers in Mensa International, Inc. from 1979 to 1991. Among the many hats he wears are: Attorney (South-western University), Mathematician (UCLA), and Magician (The Magic Castle). He has been an author, coauthor, editor, columnist, and writer of books, magazine articles and journal reports on many topics, including law, high technology, computer programming, artificial intelligence, aikido, magic, health and entertainment. He was the lead editor of Biological Aging Measurement by Dr. Ward Dean. He has had a passionate interest in, and researched, life extension and life enhancement since he first became acquainted with Jack LaLane and the works of Paul Bragg in the mid-1960s. ANISIMOV PROFESSOR, VLADIMIR
Professor Anisimov is currently involved in the development of natural synthesized peptides and indeed he was an associate of Vladimir Dilman and took part in key experiments and papers that comprise the Neuroendocrine Theory of Aging. Professor Anisimov works within the Petrov Research Institute in St. Petersburg and his discoveries include the pineal hormones of Epitalon and Epithalamin.

ASLAN PROFESSOR, ANA
Professor Aslan is the first physician credited with using modern anti-aging medicine and was responsible for the foundation of the world's first Gerontology Institute in Bucharest in 1956. Professor Aslan made a huge impact in Geriatrics with the discovery and use of her creation Gerovital-H3 ®, which is widely accredited as the first modern anti-aging drug. Remarkably Professor Aslan achieved all this under the repressive Communist regime of the Romanian dictator - Ceausescu.

BAER MD, ANDREW
He focuses on anti-aging and mind/body medicine, consciousness technology, degenerative diseases and the treatment of age-associated memory impairment in McLean, Virginia.

BAEZ MD, GUSTAVO TOVAR
Operates the Life Extension Clinic in Caracus, Venezuela. He is the first physician in Caracus to specialize in anti-aging medicine.

BAXAS MD, SAM
Head of the Baxamed Medical Center for Youth Restoration in Basel, Switzerland. He has developed cell therapy and growth hormone therapies for a variety of diseases, including Parkinson's and arthritis.

BLOCK, WILL
Researcher to Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw, coauthor of numerous articles and publications. Will Block is one of the best informed and knowledgeable individuals about the use of life enhancing supplements. He is currently President of Life Enhancement Products.

BJORKSTEN PhD, JOHAN
In 1941, Dr. Johan Bjorksten proposed the Cross-Linking Theory of Aging, which implied that an alteration occurred in structural proteins that causes them to develop inter-and intramolecular cross-links with other proteins. The presence of cross-linking agents in living organisms was equated by Bjorksten with factory-workers being handcuffed a few at a time. If the "mad-handcuffer" were not stopped, at some point the factory production would slow and ultimately grind to a halt. Bjorksten proposed that just such a process, progressive cross-linking in the body, was responsible for the changes that occurred with aging. Bjorksten devised an aggressive experimental approach to discover safe, effective anti-cross-linking agents. He believed that two of the best approaches to preventing cross-linking were physical exercise and chelation therapy with EDTA. More recently, Dr. A. Cerami has updated this theory as the Glycation Theory of Aging, in which the non-enzymatic reactions of glucose and other reducing sugars, with amino groups of proteins and nucleic acids, result in a series of events which alter protein and nucleic acid structure and function. This is the same process that causes the "caramelization" of sugar.

BROWN MD, RICHARD
Dr. Brown specializes in psychopharmacology and operates a truly international approach in terms of both information and products for his patients. Perhaps that is the reason that he is one of the most famous physiatrists in the USA. Dr. Brown was able to elaborate on his patients results, particularly as an anti-depressive, as he has had more years clinical use with SAMe than most physicians. Accordingly, he wrote the book Stop depression now with SAMe.

CHAM Ph.D, BILL
Dr. Cham has broad experience in Pharmacology, Oncology and Lipidology as evidenced by his many publications and high rate of citations. He is also the inventor of various technologies and holds patents in the fields of cancer treatment, atherosclerosis treatment and anti-viral (including HIV) treatment. These technologies have resulted in the accepted treatments for skin cancer as well as current phase II clinical trials for human internal cancers, and the soon to be executed clinical trials for the treatments of cardiovascular diseases and viral therapies.

COHEN MD, RICK
Rick Cohen M.D., is a leading authority in the treatment of male hormonal imbalance. Based on his in-depth clinical experience and research, Dr. Cohen founded MedLean in 1998 in an effort to promote the progressive use of dietary supplements, natural hormone and hormone precursors to promote optimum male health and performance. His degrees are from Duke and Hahenmann Medical University.

COONEY PhD., CRAIG
He has a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of California. He has been published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry and the Journal of Molecular Biology and he continues to be published in other prominent scientific journals. More, recently, Dr. Cooney authored the book Methyl Magic. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.

DEAN, MD, WARD
Graduated from the US Military Academy- West Point NY, he served as an infantry Officer for six years. During that time he was an instructor at the US Army Ranger School and combat advisor to the Vietnamese Rangers. He received his MD from Han Yang University, Seoul, Korea and later became flight surgeon to Delta Force.
He has published more than 70 articles and professional reviews, including being the author of Biological Aging Measurement and coauthor of the Neuroendocrine Theory Of Aging and Degenerative Diseases, as well as the Smart Drug 1 and Smart Drugs 2 books.

DILMAN MD, VLADIMIR
The Neuroendocrine Theory of Aging is attributed to the late Professor Vladimir Dilman of the Petrov Institute of Oncology in St. Petersburg, Russia. It was first proposed by Dilman in English in 1983 and was revised and updated in 1992 by Dilman and Dr. Ward Dean. This theory proposes that aging is due to the loss of receptor sensitivity to feedback inhibition with time, resulting in a progressive shifting of homeostasis and alterations of hormone levels and their effects with time.

DUMITRU MD PhD., MIRCEA
Born in Romania, Dr. Dumitru was the personal assistant to Professor Ana Aslan of the Bucharest Institute of Gerontology. Dr. Aslan was the famous physician behind the remarkable substance Gerovital-H3 ®. As such, there is probably no better Gerontologist alive today who understands this substance better.
Dr. Dumitru has extensive experience in the field of Gerontology and completed his original internship in 1956. He has published hundreds of papers and appears at Gerontology meetings around the world. FOX MD, ARNOLD
Dr. Fox is an internist, cardiologist and practicing physician in Beverly Hills specializing in anti-aging medicine using nutritional and hormone therapies, as well as more traditional medicine. He is adjunct Professor at the University of the Pacific, and is the author of a number of books for the general public, including his latest book the Fat Blocker Diet.

GORDON MD, GARRY F
Dr. Gordon is considered to be the Father of Chelation Therapy and he carries the banner in the United States for "alternative medicine." KHALSA MD, DHARMA SINGH

KLEINSEK PhD., DON
President and founder of Gerigene Medical Corporation. Dr. Kleinsek utilizes state of the art genetic research techniques to discover, investigate and modify genes involved in the aging process. He currently holds 6 patents.

KNOLL Professor MD, JOSPEH
Professor Knoll was the originator of Deprenyl (or selegiline), his ground breaking research in the 1960's established the longevity effects of deprenyl on animals and affirmed deprenyl as the first proven longevity drug. His work with deprenyl and it's affects on the neurotransmitter dopamine have broad implications for both Parkinson's disease and age-related-mental-decline. Currently, Professor Knoll is working for the department of pharmacology at Semmelweiss University of Medicine in Hungary. KYRIAZIS MD, MARIOS
Dr. Kyriazis MD, is one of the few anti-aging physicians in the UK. He has a postgraduate qualification in Gerontology from the King's College, University of London, as well as a postgraduate qualification in Geriatric Medicine, granted by the Royal College of Physicians. He is also a Chartered Biologist for work in the biology of aging. He has written extensively on longevity, healthy human aging and anti-aging matters both for scientists and for the general public. Dr. Lee was the first physician to highlight the fact that not all Progesterones are the same. MASON PhD., ROBERT
Dr. Mason saw the need for access to information regarding "alternative medicine" early on. He understood the need for rapid reliable information that was based on an international basis. As such, he organization he founded trawls global databases looking for scientific/ clinical information that has use in medical applications. He believes from his studies that aging is a disease and that we are "on the road" to conquering it. Originally educated in food and nutrient technology, he later completed a degree in pharmacology and has been heavily interested in slowing the aging condition ever since reading the book Life Extension in the mid-1980's. MORGENTHALER, JOHN
John Morgenthaler is a science writer and publisher based in Petaluma, California. He has been researching Smart Drugs and Nutrients since 1980 and was a cofounder of Life Enhancement Products. PARDELL DO, HERBERT
Operates an anti-aging clinical practice in North Miami, that specializes in hyberbaric oxygen, chelation and alternative medicine. He is also the medical Director of the Life Extension Foundation.

PAULING, LINUS
Born in 1901, he is one of the greatest chemists of all time. Linus Pauling is the only person ever to have won 2 (unshared) Nobel Laureates in 1954 and 1962, and was the youngest person ever to be voted onto the National Academy of Sciences. In 1973, he founded the Linus Pauling Institute of Science and Medicine, an independent non-profit research and educational organization devoted to study what he termed for the first time- orthomolecular medicine. He heavily researched and lectured about mega-doses of vitamin C to prevent and assist a number of ills, from the common cold to cancer, as well as promote longevity. He died in 1994 leaving 4-children.

PEARSON, DURK

Dr. Pierpaoli is one of the foremost anti-aging researchers in the world, especially with regard to melatonin and other neuropeptides.
