Dr. Aubrey De Grey is a Chief Science Officer at the SENS Foundation and is a renowned academic researcher of this generation with a dedication to fighting the aging process and the consequences that accompany aging. In 1985 De Grey received a BA and Ph.D. after graduating from the University of Cambridge and has since become a biomedical gerontologist.
The Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence (SENS) is the name of De Grey’s foundation and the name of his 7-step plan developed to address the damage endured during the aging process. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the journal ‘Rejuvenation Research’ and frequently sits on the scientific and editorial boards of many organisations and journals, including the American Aging Association and the Gerontological Society of America.
