Excessive excitotocins, also known as Excitotoxicity, is a condition where the nerve cells are damaged or due when the levels of neurotransmitters such as glutamate become too high. This in turn overstimulates the receptors, creating excessive levels of these neurotransmitters which in turn activate a number of enzymes that can damage cell structures.
Excitotoxicity symptoms will include mental health conditions like depression and anxiety, restlessness, headaches, insomnia and an inability to concentrate.
