Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a disease that affects the brain, optic nerves and spinal cord, collectively known as the Central Nervous System (CNS). The immune system turns on the myelin protective sheath that covers nerve fibers and if left untreated can cause permanent damage to the nerves. Whilst there is no cure, treating MS can help manage symptoms, slow down the course of the disease and speed up recovery where possible of the attacks on the myelin.
Melatonin, Vitamin D3 and Thyrotropin Releasing Hormone (TRH) are all alternative ways to help manage the symptoms of MS; they work in different ways to ease symptoms including metabolism issues, regulate sleep, repair body cells and regulate the immune system.
