Telomeres

Telomeres are short sequences of DNA that are found on the end of our chromosomes, and repeat over and over. They help to organise chromosomes within the nucleus of our cells, and over time shorten and eventually die off as the cells continue to divide during our lifetime. As this process happens, the cells naturally decline which in turn leads to biological aging conditions such as thinning skin, wrinkles and greying hair.
