Telomeres are short sequences of DNA that are found on the end of our chromosomes, and repeat over and over. They help to organise chromosomes within the nucleus of our cells, and over time shorten and eventually die off as the cells continue to divide during our lifetime. As this process happens, the cells naturally decline which in turn leads to biological aging conditions such as thinning skin, wrinkles and greying hair.
As research has shown that slowing down telomere decline combats signs of aging, people naturally look for supplements or a drug to extend telomeres in the body. There are a range available that include peptides, peptide bioregulators and creams, as well as related products designed to boost functions like the pineal gland, which in turn also aid anti aging efforts.
