Selegiline, also known as Deprenyl, works to sustain the amount of Dopamine in the brain; it is a nerve and cell protector that can also enhance cognitive function, attention span and memory. It is classed as a “smart drug”, or “nootropic” and is available in both tablet and liquid formats.
Selegiline is approved for use in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease and is also used “off label” for other conditions including Alzheimer’s disease, ADHD and depression.
